Go beyond noise measurement: all your environmental monitoring data in one place

Besides the world-leading noise measurement technology from Cirrus Research, the Quantum Outdoor noise monitor is equipped to simultaneously measure dust, gaseous pollutants, and vibration, together with weather, wind speed and direction.

Weather data provides the context for noise levels and other environmental impacts and can help you make effective decisions to protect the environment and residents. Cirrus Research has partnered with Gill Instruments Ltd, experts in weather stations, to offer you the best solution for weather monitoring.

Two versions of Gill’s compact weather stations are available, the GMX200 and GMX600. Both integrate directly with the Quantum Outdoor remote noise monitor and give you access to comprehensive weather monitoring data, including:

Wind speed
Wind direction
Temperature
Humidity
Pressure
Rainfall

Within the Quantum Portal, your weather data is displayed alongside your noise measurement information, allowing you to improve your understanding of noise impacts under varying weather conditions.

The Quantum Outdoor noise monitor offers monitoring equipment with sensors for fine dust, ultrafine particles and gaseous pollutants. Cirrus Research has partnered with South Coast Science, experts in air quality monitoring, to offer you the best out-of-the-box solution for urban air quality monitoring.

Image

With the South Coast Praxis OPCube or Urban air quality monitor, you can detect critical environmental pollutants and particulates, including respirable particles with sizes PM 1, PM 2.5 and PM 10 (MCERTS certified for PM2.5 and PM10). These gases and particulates are found in vehicle and motor exhausts, smoke from burning oil and coal, and dust from demolition, construction, and quarrying.

Whether you work in heavy industry, transport and logistics or construction, ground vibration is a key environmental impact you need to monitor and control. Understanding the ground-bourne vibration levels you’re creating and the impact it may have on nearby residences or businesses regarding nuisance vibration or building damage is vital. Cirrus Research has partnered with Omnidots to provide you with the best vibration monitoring system for your needs – the Omnidots Swarm 2.1.

The Ground Vibration Monitor can either be integrated with our Quantum Outdoor for noise and vibration monitoring or used as a standalone monitor. The instrument’s highly accurate and sensitive seismograph measures the movement of molecular particles within the ground, measuring ground-borne vibration levels as peak particle velocity (PPV) in millimetres per second (mm/s).
