An important update about NoiseTools

We recently published a new update to NoiseTools; NoiseTools 1.8.9. This update introduced improvements to the software, including compatibility and bug fixes.

The latest firmware version in the Optimus sound level meters requires your NoiseTools software to be updated. This applies to both new meters and recently calibrated and serviced meters and will ensure the best performance of your meter with our licence-free software.

Everyone using NoiseTools must install this latest version.

An overview of what’s new in NoiseTools 1.8.9:

  • Optimus Cloud is now MyCirrus
  • Added support for all cloud-connected instruments
  • Improved support for all cloud-connected instruments
  • Fixed some issues with downloading measurements from CR:800C instruments
  • Added support for Unique Measurement ID and Takt-Max Slow
  • Various other minor bug fixes and improvements
