We’re proud to not only be gold sponsors for this year’s Internoise conference, where the theme is Noise Control in a more Sustainable Future but to also be supporting Embedded Software Engineer, James Oatley as he presents his paper at the event.
The 51st International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering will take place on 21-24 August 2022 at the Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow.
This annual event is organised by the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and the United Kingdom Acoustics Network (UKAN) on behalf of the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE).
You will be able to visit our noise experts and talk all things noise measurement and monitoring on Stand 19.
Supporting research and innovation
Recently, the team at Cirrus Research partnered with The Warren, Hull, and completed an investigation into the application of Bradford University’s TRAPT (Tranquillity Rating Prediction Tool) to indoor spaces.
Tranquil places are important for everyone. They provide the chance to think, recuperate and unwind from the pressures of day-to-day life. Much research has already been conducted into tranquil spaces within smart cities, including the generation of the TRAPT, thanks to work carried out by the University of Bradford.
Following weeks of hard work, our team have written up the results of the research into a paper entitled, “Bringing the Tranquillity Rating Prediction Tool (TRAPT) Indoors – A Case Study at The Warren, Hull.”
Embedded Software Engineer, James Oatley, will present this paper at the 2022 Internoise Conference.
