The doseBadge Noise Dosimeter is traditionally mounted onto the shoulder of the person whose noise exposure will be measured.
However, there may be situations where this is either not possible or where mounting the instrument onto a hard hat or helmet may be more suitable. For example, the type of clothing that the person is wearing may not be suitable for mounting the doseBadge via the supplied clips.
A set of mountings are available for the doseBadge Personal Noise Dosimeter that allows the unit to be mounted onto a helmet. The mount uses a version of the clip that is usually used to attach hearing protection to a helmet and can be mounted on either side of the helmet.
Please note that if the CM:100 Helmet Mount is fitted, hearing protection cannot be attached to the helmet.
