As you may be aware, over the past 12 months, Cirrus Research has been celebrating its 40thbirthday by hosting a number of special events, including an exclusive driving day at PalmerSportâs race track.
The PalmerSport driving event allowed guests of Cirrus Research to test their driving skills to the max, under the watchful eye of their individual instructors, as they were given the opportunity to drive seven high performance cars to their limit at Bedford Autodrome. The purpose built venue features six miles of track with four separate circuits, set to challenge the best of drivers.
After a safety briefing, attendees were let loose to drive a whole host of cars including a BMW M3 GTP, Porsche 911 JP3, Land Rover Defender, Caterham Pursuit, Palmer Jaguar JP-LM, with the grand finale resulting in a ânail bitingâ Formula Jaguar race.
Despite a bleak weather forecast, we were lucky enough to only experience some rain in the afternoon which fortunately added to the thrill of the Caterham Pursuit challenge including the required âdonutsâ on the race track!
Throughout the day, grins from âear to earâ could be seen on all of those participating and life long memories were made!
